I actually saw a biography of Queen Elizabeth when she was young and had just gotten married and taken over the monarchy. She had a hat on exactly like this one. So that gives you an idea of how old this hat is, even though it is extremely well preserved. If you look inside, it still has the old tag which says “union made “which proves the age of the hat is in excellent condition and appears to be never worn or at the most worn one time . The top has a satin top with a velvet button over that the crown around the side is solid black velvet . This is in excellent shape. There is not one stain, rip or smell to it. It has been stored in a box for many many years and in a Perfect smoke free environment.

From the outside, it is 28 inches around. So I imagine this hat would fit a size small to a medium. There is only one available due to the originality of the product.

From what I can surmise as I am good at vintage products and experienced in selling vintage products, this hat is approximately 70 years old. You will not find any defects in it any places.
